Grama Panchayat

The Grama Panchayat-level inauguration of Thufan 2.0, a joint initiative implemented by the Local Self Government Department, Police Department, and Excise Department with the objective of building a safe future and a drug-free society, was held today at 11:00 AM at the Grama Panchayat Conference Hall.

The Thufan 2.0 flag was hoisted by the Grama Panchayat President, Smt. Sushila Aji.

The meeting was presided over by the Grama Panchayat Vice President, Shri. Manoj M.K. The welcome address was delivered by Smt. Anandavallayamma, Chairperson of the Grama Panchayat Development Standing Committee.

Following this, Shri. Shaiju S., Civil Police Officer, Konni, led the participants in taking the Thufan pledge.

Shri. Prakash, Member, conveyed his greetings to all those who attended the meeting.

The programme was attended by school students, teachers, CDS members, Ward Members Shri. Arun Kumar, Shri. K. Harikumar, Smt. Prasanna Kumari, Smt. Annie Johnson, Smt. Sally Chandy, Smt. Vidya Manoj, Smt. Jolly Aji Thomas, and Smt. Nisha V.L., along with police officials and Panchayat employees.

Smt. Lija T., Chairperson of the Welfare Standing Committee, proposed the vote of thanks to everyone who participated in the meeting.
